All funds raised go directly to the Electronic Frontier Foundation, but are only charged if the debate is agreed upon by February 28th 2019. The EFF is a leading nonprofit organization defending civil liberties in the digital world, and has fought to ensure the web remains a free and collaborative space. They have been ardent defenders of code as free speech.
Rick was an early technologist and entrepreneur. He later went on to found the Swedish Pirate Party which focused on copyright and patent law. Falkvinge has since been a great thought leader and proponent of Bitcoin and is active in the community creating thoughtful content on his channel “We Are All Satoshi”.
